How scanning works

Other Living Dex trackers are checklists you fill in by hand. PKHomeDex fills itself in from Pokémon HOME.

  1. Open a summary in HOME

    PKHomeDex sits in a small floating bar over HOME, so there's no switching between apps.

  2. Tap Scan

    Or turn on Live Scan and swipe through a box while PKHomeDex reads each Pokémon as you go.

  3. Save it

    The Pokémon lands in your collection with everything HOME showed. Scan it again after training it and PKHomeDex updates the same record instead of adding a duplicate.

What you get

The full record of every Pokémon you own

Species and form, level, nature, ability, exact IVs and EVs, moves, ball, OT, and the game it came from. All of it is read from the screen, so you never type anything in.

Then search it however you like: every Adamant Pokémon with 31 Attack, every shiny from Sword, or every Pokémon with your OT that still has EVs to spend. Sort and group by anything you've scanned.

Track every Living Dex

Scanned Pokémon are ticked off automatically. Tap to track any others you don't want to scan. Keep track of your progress on the complete Form Dex or dexes for each game to see your progress towards HOME rewards.

Teams built from Pokémon you actually have

Pick from your real collection and get recommendations for Pokémon and moves that cover the gaps in your team, whether it's for the story, raids, or the Battle Tower.

Champions teams come with recommended builds from current ladder data on what players are actually running.

A Pokédex for every game

Every species and form, with stats, types, abilities, learnsets, evolutions, and encounter locations. All of it is unique to each game, from Red and Blue to Legends: Z-A. There's a catch calculator on every page too.

Maps for every game

Every game has its map drawn out in full, with every location on it. Tap a location to see everything that lives there, with the encounter rate and conditions for each. Search for a Pokémon and every place it appears is marked at once.

The Catch Calendar

Every scanned Pokémon carries its catch date, so the calendar can show you what you caught on this day in past years and which anniversaries are coming up.

Questions

What do I need to use PKHomeDex?
An Android phone with Pokémon HOME installed on it. PKHomeDex scans the HOME screen on the same phone.
Does it change anything in Pokémon HOME?
No. It only reads the screen. It never taps, swipes, or edits anything in HOME.
Do I need HOME Premium?
Only for IVs. Those come from HOME's Judge display, which is part of the Premium Plan. Everything else scans on the free plan.
Is PKHomeDex free?
Yes. The free version scans up to 50 Pokémon and includes the full Pokédex, maps, Living Dex tracking, and one team. Pro removes the scan limit and adds Live Scan, Champions ladder data, unlimited teams, and Google Drive backup.
Where does my collection live?
On your phone. There's no account and no server. Pro can back it up to your own Google Drive. Privacy policy
